A "Mega Sale" which had taken months of preparation and planning was successfully carried out on Sunday, 27 September 2009 from 10.30am - 12.30pm in Hiroshima hall.
The items for sale are mostly (winter) clothing. Some of the items were donated by seniors who have graduated and agreed to let us sell and manage or use the money from the sale as we deem appropriate. MCSC already has plans to use part of the (profit) money for charity (e.g. orphanage). MCSC members also have the opportunity to sell their belongings in this event.

New students trying out the winter clothingThe turnout and response was very encouraging indeed, especially from the new students who have just arrived in Volgograd. They must be terrified of the notorious Russian winter or perhaps the bargains are too good to resist. We look forward to having more of such mutually beneficial events in the future.
